R.I.P. HD-DVD
Well seems like HD-DVD finally threw the towel in the ring. Sony’s 13 company-led association takes this price with its Blu-ray disk. I don’t really care which part would win this round. I knew there could only be one. It’s too crazy to produce a movie in 2 different formats, two different brands. Wouldn’t be good for the customers, what would they have to take ? What hardware would they need to buy etc..
Now Blu-ray will probably go even more mainstream. Prices will drop of reader/writers etc, more movies, games etc will come out in this format and we probably all will be forced to buy something to read or write to it.
