Split view in Visual Studio for ASP.net development

Now with my new laptop and awesome resolution (1920×1200) I can finally enjoy the split function in Visual Studio when I develop ASP.NET pages. With this you basically have the code window on one side and the design window on the other side. This way you don’t have to switch views every time. Very handy!

You just go to the Tools menu and select Options …
Select HTML Designer from the list. Here you need to set the following:

- select Split view from the Start pages groupbox.
- check Split views vertically

When this is done the windows should look something like this:

Open RAW images in Windows Vista

Windows Vista has the ability to decode RAW images and make them viewable without extra software in Windows Gallery, explorer etc..

However you also need to download a specific codec. Microsoft has created a page with the most common SLR camera’s and the needed codec. So if you are a photographer who has always been irritated with the lack of RAW support. Get Windows Vista and the necessary codec from Microsoft’s Professional Photography site

SharePoint Server 2007 end-user tutorials

past two weeks..

So what have I been doing the past two weeks, well I took some vacation.

Had a perfect Christmas, new year..relaxed a lot. I got Halo 3 from my brother and finished this together with my girlfriend, my girlfriend also likes to play this, how cool is that :D

I spend some time with Silverlight 1.0 and I will give more info on that in later posts.
