Special Dell laptop for the World of Warcraft freaks

Dell decided to bring out a special edition of it’s XPS range. Aimed specially at the World of Warcraft players. Now, I’m not allowed to play WOW anymore (clean for 1,5 year now) but still I think it’s a very nice laptop.

Windows Home Server promo videos

Microsoft is making a lot of effort to promote it’s home variant of Windows server, Windows Home Server, to the public. Which is a good thing because Windows Home Server is something really handy. I hope to test this server in the near future. Don’t have the money for a HP MediaSmart Server (bundled with Windows Home Server) so i’ll have to run it virtually for the time being. If anyone wants to sponsor me however, feel free to send me an email :D

Back to the topic now. So Microsoft has published this site with funny video’s about Windows Home Server. They are funny but they do however give you a good idea what Windows Home Server’s capabilities are. Check it out here: www.stayathomeserver.com

New posts in English

As you may have noticed, the last post I did was in English. So is this one..

Why am I suddenly posting topics in English ? Well here’s the answer. Because most of my post are very IT related, IT related people know Enlgish very well. I want to reach a bit more people then only the Belgium people. That’s why I am posting in English.

I am planning in the near future to start back with the video training. There will however be some video’s that are in Dutch. Probably the beginners video’s. The more advanced topics will be in English.

Microsoft Office Live Workspace plugin

I was browsing the downloads on Microsoft.com and I came across this link. So what this basicly does.. It provides the functionality to save and open files from Office Live Workspace directly from your offline office package. Very handy.

You have to know however that Office Live workspace still hasn’t been realeased to the public. This plugin is currently only for the beta testers out there.

But once the Beta hits public, we can all enjoy this handy plugin.
